# Machine Learning Engineer – Advanced Geometry & Modeling

## Overview

**Novineer** is an engineering technology company specializing in providing generative geometric and 3D printing paths design optimization. Our solutions enhance structural modeling, simulation, and part generation workflows. We are seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in geometry processing, machine learning, and computational modeling. This role will focus on enhancing design automation through data-driven modeling approaches, leveraging pattern recognition, geometric feature extraction, and algorithm development to improve complex engineering processes.

## RESPONSIBILITIES

- Contribute to the development of geometric processing methods, including surface meshing, shape analysis, and topology optimization techniques.
- Develop and implement machine learning-driven computational modeling techniques to improve geometric data processing, surface representation, and structural modeling workflows.
- Develop and implement feature extraction and shape recognition models to enhance part classification and geometric analysis.

- Integrate developed models into Novineer’s software suite for seamless operation within geometric and toolpath generative design workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to validate the AI-driven reconstruction models through real-world data and simulations.

## REQUIREMENTS

- Must be eligible to legally work in the U.S. (OPT is acceptable).
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning, Computational Geometry, or Computer Vision.
- Strong background in deep learning architectures (e.g., CNNs, Autoencoders, Transformers) for geometry processing, 3D modeling, or related domains.

- Experience with point cloud processing, surface meshing, and CAD model generation.
- Proficiency in Python or C++, with experience in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced research-driven environment.
