The four-step workflow

Model Setup, Meshing, Loads & Restraints, Simulation: what the status bar shows and what each colour means.

To set up and run a simulation, complete the following four steps in order:

Model Setup → Meshing → Loads & Restraints → Simulation

In NoviPath these are Workflow steps. The Workflow status bar shows your progress through them. Each step depends on outputs from earlier steps. You must complete the first three steps (progress bars should turn green when completed) before you can run the simulation.

Progress bars use the following status colors:

  • Gray — Not started
  • Blue — In progress
  • Green — Completed
  • Red — Failed
