Overview
Novineer is an engineering technology company specializing in providing generative geometric and 3D printing paths design optimization. Our solutions enhance structural modeling, simulation, and part generation workflows. We are seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in geometry processing, machine learning, and computational modeling. This role will focus on enhancing design automation through data-driven modeling approaches, leveraging pattern recognition, geometric feature extraction, and algorithm development to improve complex engineering processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the development of geometric processing methods, including surface meshing, shape analysis, and topology optimization techniques.
- Develop and implement machine learning-driven computational modeling techniques to improve geometric data processing, surface representation, and structural modeling workflows.
- Develop and implement feature extraction and shape recognition models to enhance part classification and geometric analysis.
- Integrate developed models into Novineer’s software suite for seamless operation within geometric and toolpath generative design workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to validate the AI-driven reconstruction models through real-world data and simulations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be eligible to legally work in the U.S. (OPT is acceptable).
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning, Computational Geometry, or Computer Vision.
- Strong background in deep learning architectures (e.g., CNNs, Autoencoders, Transformers) for geometry processing, 3D modeling, or related domains.
- Experience with point cloud processing, surface meshing, and CAD model generation.
- Proficiency in Python or C++, with experience in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced research-driven environment.
